Fairbill stores your profile, company details, clients, invoices, photos, signature, and bank details on your iPhone. There is no Fairbill server, and Fairbill does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
What stays on the iPhone
Name, email, phone number, address, invoice amounts, notes, and bank details are kept in the app’s library on the device. Photos you attach are compressed on the iPhone before they are saved. Your PIN is stored only as a salted hash in the iPhone Keychain. Face ID and Touch ID are handled by Apple. Fairbill never receives a copy of your face or fingerprint.
iCloud
If you turn on iCloud storage, invoice PDFs and a backup of your library are written to a private folder in your iCloud Drive. That data is in your Apple Account. Turning the option off stops new copies. It does not delete files already saved there until you delete your profile.
Open alerts
If you turn on open alerts, Fairbill writes a random token and an opened flag to an iCloud public database. That record does not include the invoice total, your bank details, or your client’s email. An open alert is a courtesy, not proof of delivery. Mail and WhatsApp do not tell Fairbill when a PDF is opened.
Payments
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Fairbill does not receive your card number.

Your choices
You can export a copy of your data from Profile. You can delete the profile, company information, clients, invoices, photos, reminders, and iCloud copies inside the app. Deleting the profile does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel that in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
